Show Notes

Welcome to BuiltOnAir, a podcast and video series about all things Airtable. Each episode, we talk with someone active in the Airtable community to discuss their experiences and showcase an interesting way they’ve used Airtable in their work.

In this episode we’re joined by Lisa-Marie Pierre, a program manager for Ascend NYC, a Bronx Community College program which connects Bronx minority/women-owned businesses with contracting opportunities.

Lisa-Marie may be new to Airtable, but that hasn’t stopped her from diving right in to create a base for the program. Like so many of us, the Covid-19 pandemic has thrown a curveball or two at Lisa-Marie that has made project coordination a bit more difficult.

Luckily, with the help of Airtable, she was able to organize a catalog of potential new contacts to reach out to. Lisa-Marie has also made an Airtable base which tracks the progress of her ideas for personal projects. She gives a rundown of its set up and how it differs from other progress trackers on the Airtable Universe to reinforce the ease and value of customizing a base to suit your specific needs.
