Soviet Space Dogs

This is a database of the dogs who participated in the Soviet space program in the 1950s and 1960s. There are two sheets - one that lists all 48 dogs, and the other that lists the 42 missions that they flew on. The source of this data is Olesa Turkina's excellent book "[Soviet Space Dogs](http://fuel-design.com/publishing/soviet-space-dogs/)", published by Fuel. _Warning: some dogs have multiple names, and some share names._ Dogs: variables - Name (Latin) - The name of the dog in latinised Cyrillic - Name (English) - A translation of the dog's name into English - Name (Cyrillic) - The dog's original name in Cyrillic - Gender - The dog's gender - Flights - The flights that the dog participated on - Fate - The dog's fate, and date of death if it died on a specific mission. - Notes - Any extra information about the dog Flights: variables - Date - The date of the mission - Dogs - The dogs that participated in the mission - Rocket - The rocket that the mission used - Altitude - The altitude reached by the mission - Result - The result of the mission - details of success or failure - Notes - Any extra information about the mission

The 2000s Indie Band Database

Variables - Name: Band name - Home City: The city where the band formed or is based in - Home Country: The country where the band formed or is based in - Latitude: Latitude of the above city - Longitude: Longitude of the above city - Still Going?: Whether the band has officially split up. Reformed bands, and those that haven’t released anything in years but never officially split up, both count as “still going” - Legendary: A subjective marker of the bands that were most influential - Albums: Number of studio albums released. EPs, live albums and greatest hits compilations don’t count - Guitars to Synths: Subjective rating on a 1-5 scale where 1 represents an almost total absence of synthesizers and 5 represents an almost total absence of guitars. - Artsy to Populist: Subjective rating on a 1-5 scale where 1 represents more conceptual/artsy bands and 5 represents more populist bands. - Loudness: Subjective rating on a 1-5 scale where 1 represents quieter, acoustic bands and 5 represents louder, more distorted/electric bands. - Loudness: Subjective rating on a 1-5 scale where 1 represents the least cool bands and 5 represents the most cool bands. - First album: Release date of the band’s first album. In a few instances, I used the first day of the month to represent albums where the precise date wasn’t known. - Last album: Release date of the band’s most recent album. In a few instances, I used the first day of the month to represent albums where the precise date wasn’t known. - New Entry: Used to mark unreviewed entries. - Any women in the band?: Whether any past or present band members self-define as women. Some FAQs: How comprehensive is this? It’s a work in progress, but I think it’s pretty good. It definitely covers all of the top-tier and the vast majority of the mid-tier acts in the British and US indie scenes during the 00s. I’ve got a form [here](https://airtable.com/shrURbhInIQB2TEem) that allows anyone to submit additional acts that aren’t currently in the database. What are the criteria for inclusion? I’m defining “indie” fairly loosely, as “musicians and bands that the NME got excited about in the 00s”. This means that e.g. The Streets and Amy Winehouse are “indie”, and Coldplay are not, which some might find questionable, but the objective is to document a particular scene. The former examples were definitely part of and influenced that scene, the latter is is not and did not. You forgot to include my favourite band! There are two reasons why your favourite band might not be in here. The first is that I might have decided it didn’t quite fit into the scene. Coldplay, for example, are absolutely a mid-00s indie band, but they didn’t really give or take influence from anyone else here. The other reason is that I might have forgotten about them. In either case you should [check if they’re already in the 00s indie band database](https://airtable.com/shrtIJTzbEXDvBvQ5), and [add them if they’re not there](https://airtable.com/shrURbhInIQB2TEem). Can I use this data in my project? Absolutely, yes, as long as you credit “The 00s Indie Band Database” with a link to this page: [http://www.duncangeere.com/00sindiebanddatabase/](http://www.duncangeere.com/00sindiebanddatabase/). I have another question! Email Duncan at [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]).

Ultimate Meal Planner

This meal planner base has it all! Shopping list generator, recipe page builder, support for "sub-recipes", you name it. Mix-and-match entrees and side dishes to create varied meals for breakfast, lunch, dinner. Enjoy the convenient Shopping List view in the Ingredients table to see all the ingredients (and the total quantities!) needed for the recipes you've planned this week. Enter recipe ingredient qualities as decimals (i.e. '0.333') and enjoy this base's automatic "pretty display" conversions to common fractions (i.e. '⅓') while preserving the Shopping List's ability to sum total quantities required. If you create or collect your own recipes for sauces and marinades, fear not, for this base structure allows you to attach a custom recipe for ingredients to multiple "larger" recipes. Use your family's secret recipe for marinara sauce in your Spaghetti, Lasagna, and Bolognese recipes without hassle. -- This base was made by Kamille Parks and featured in a BuiltOnAir podcast which aired on XX, 2019.

The Write Track

This base takes you through entering your story idea and setting basic criteria, creating character profiles, location and object data, scratch notes, publishing house information, and submission tracking. All are linked back to your story/project. You can better visualize your projects, characters, locations, objects and scratch notes in a gallery view or card type style. Publishing House, Submissions and Document tables display in a grid type view. Bookmark the forms links for faster entry of data for each table in the base. Each table in the base allows you to upload a pic to its gallery. By doing this the gallery view of a table will show that pic at the top of the card (only in gallery view). Pick lists exist throughout to make choices faster and more productive. These can be added, changed or removed based on your needs. The grid view can be manipulated to move items into a flow that suits you. All galley views can also have items displayed or hidden, as well as moved to change position to suit you. Adding more means your gallery card increases in size vertically (so you scroll more). Some notes: - Characters table just enter the date of birth and the age will calculate. - Project detail table will calculate the percent completed from your project goal. You must enter manually the total word count of your project at whatever point you desire to. This will calculate your percent complete and display in your gallery project card. - You can also enter your estimated goal to complete in time format - by days, weeks, months or years. This is your project deadline, not a publisher's deadline and this will calculate based on the My Deadline date field with time left from today to your goal date. This will also display on your gallery project card. You can change the formula to reflect 'months', 'weeks' or 'days'. - Scratch Notes is a place where you can enter an Idea, Research or even a Scene that does not yet have a place in your project. - Hover over each tab in the base for some info on that table. The example story is using some fun zombie stuff and even a zombie Lorum Ipsum text. I hope this helps aspiring writers to become better organized. Have fun!

Financial Independence (FIRE) Budget/Calculator

When I first picked up AirTables, I wanted a project which would help me to learn the bounds of the free version - and also wanted a proper FIRE calculator. This AirTable sheet will take your Net Worth, Income, Budget (alternatively: real expenses), your withdrawal and return rates (recommended a conservative 3% each), then will calculate your Years To Financial Independence. Steps to create this AirTable are in the Description tab, including links to sources. Since I'm not willing to invest in the paid version, this is where development stops from me. I would love if someone would take this further by adding charts/graphs, coloring the data input fields, making it clearer to use for newbies to the FI movement, etc. Please share the end result with me so I can use them also, or let me know if this base can use any improvement (limited to free version)! We built PubLoft (marketing for startups) to $300,000/year using only Airtable, Zapier, Typeform, and Weebly. The biggest advice I can give anyone building a business on Airtable: start small, but separate every variable into its own table. For example, we started by describing the assignment “type” as simple text, until we decided to create a table for Deliverables to organize our offerings and pass pricing information through Zapier. Since July 2018, PubLoft’s freelance content strategists, writers, and editors have used a Weebly portal with embedded Typeforms + Airtables to create, claim, and submit assignments in/out of our system. Our Zapier automation glues everything together, from initial client requests to finalized pieces sent for approval.

Nonprofit/Association Editorial Calendar

Editorial calendars are key to any nonprofit or association's messaging. To tell your story all year, you need content following the story arcs of your programs. You need to balance your asks with your thank-you's. And, if you're like most associations, you've got a small communications/marketing team (maybe just one). I've been there and this is how I keep it all straight!

#CaracasFutura

To provide a little bit of context: This base was created for a vegetarian friend, and shared to different friends over time. This list is a small collection from about three months of eating/drinking in Mexico City, as well as recommendations from friends that live there, that either work in the food industry or are food industry adjacent. The second table displays all the spots by neighborhood, and the third table is where you can create your itinerary, sorted by day and by time.

The Qualitative RBI for Pressure Vessels, pipes, PSV's This Qualitative Risk Analysis Method uses engineering judgement and experience as the bases for the analysis of probabilities and consequences of failure. It is simple, easy to use and implement, it is used, largely, as a screening tool, which can start at high level e.g. at the system level (or corrosion circuit level) with minimum data input. If the risk for the system is low, then no further analysis is required, and general visual inspection / corrective maintenance is planned. If medium or high, risk then a semi-quantitative analysis may be carried out. This approach requires data inputs based on descriptive information using engineering judgement and experience as the basis for the analysis of probability and consequence of failure. Inputs are often given in data ranges instead of discrete values. Remember all of our products are fully customisable in any form or fashion by yourselves.

#CARACASFutura

Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health Services Database Template

This template is built on the [Open Referral Human Services Template](https://airtable.com/universe/expTMdQFD5r9G6V9Y/open-referral-human-services-template). This is an implementation of the OpenReferral.org Human Services Data Specification (HSDS). HSDS is designed to support the publication of open, interoperable community resource directory data. The [documentation](https://openreferral.readthedocs.io/en/latest/hsds/reference/hsds-spec) describes the structure of HSDS data, and provides the authoritative definition of the fields using in HSDS and HSDA. The front-end to display for this data is a mobile-first online directory. You can access it at [http://youthbh.chlink.org/](http://youthbh.chlink.org/) Funding for this project was made possible by the the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities Office of Children, Youth and Families Code for the front-end app is here: [https://github.com/sarapis/orservices](https://github.com/sarapis/orservices) Learn more about the work of Sarapis here: [https://sarapis.org/products/open-referral-services-directory/](https://sarapis.org/products/open-referral-services-directory/)

Have fun!

Craft Project & Stash Tracker

Hello, Fiber Friends! Here's a way to track your stash. Some places to get patterns... http://knitty.com/ISSUEff19/index.php https://www.garnstudio.com/home.php?cid=17 https://www.purlsoho.com/patterns.html https://o-wool.com/collections/patterns (some are free) http://www.classiceliteyarns.com/newsletter.php https://biscotteyarns.com/collections/free-knitting-pattern http://www.cascadeyarns.com/patterns.htm https://www.yarnspirations.com/knit-patterns http://www.lionbrand.com/patterns http://www.raglanify.com Some things I couldn't do, but will try to figure out... A separate place for sale yarns with a buy button that works like Etsy/paypal with shipping included. Transfer of yarn info to the buyer. (dreaming) A Wishlist A comparison/converter for similar yarn subs. A way to tie together yarn listings that use the same yarn base. A "make yarn" link for fiber. A "start project" link for patterns. A "send as gift" link for patterns. A yearly project challenge tracker. (like Goodreads). A TdF tracker or yearly spinning challenge tracker. A "stash more" autofill and " begin project" link for yarn. Handspun projects to automatically add to yarn when complete.

Build & run an entire agency
